Contractor Legal Advocate is a subcontractor payment advocacy office. We are not a law firm and we do not appear as attorneys. Where a matter requires licensed counsel, it is referred to a Texas attorney.
No attorney-client relationship with site visitors
Visiting this website does not create an attorney-client relationship or an advocate-client relationship. This office represents the subcontractor named in a written demand. Recipients of a demand are adverse or third parties on that matter, not clients of this office.

Content on this site, including citations to the Texas Property Code and Texas Government Code, is general information about the statutes this office relies on. It is not legal advice to you. Deadlines and remedies depend on the contract, the project type, and the facts.

Accuracy of demands
Demand letters are based on information provided by the subcontractor we represent and on the project record as reviewed. If you believe a stated amount, date, or project identification is wrong, say so in writing with supporting documents.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
